Online Piracy - Online (Copyright) Piracy/File sharing (cyber law, intellectual property law) [Ro.: Piraterie digitală/informatică, Fr.: La piraterie sur Internet/piratage informatique, Sp.: Piratería informática, It. La Pirateria informatica] = when a person copies a file/video/software etc. and shares it for profit through the internet as means. In some jurisdictions, it constitutes a criminal offence. However, those who commit online piracy are often hard to trace; for example, if one site that shares such files is shut down, there are high chances that it will appear again under a new web address.
