Goethe University Frankfurt - European Academy of Legal Studies - LL.M in Legal Theory

The LLM-Programme in Legal Theory is hosted at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt/Main. It starts every year in October and welcomes applicants from all over the world holding a basic law degree or a basic degree in a subject related to legal theory and having completed one year of professional and/or research experience.

The programme is carried out by a university consortium of the European Academy of Legal Theory (EALT) lead by the Goethe University of Frankfurt. Further partner universities are: Freie Universität Berlin, University of Bologna, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Jagiellonian University of Cracow, University of Lucerne, Stockholm University, University of Vienna.

The Institute for Law and Finance, Frankfurt University

The Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) is a center for academic excellence in teaching and research.Leading commercial banks and international law firms, the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the City of Frankfurt and the State of Hesse, as well as the European Central Bank and the Deutsche Bundesbank have been actively involved in the ILF right from the planning stages until today.

Masters of Laws (LL.M)

The course is offered within the European Legal Informatics Study Programme (EULISP) at the Faculty of Law at Leibniz University Hanover. Twelve partner universities participate in EULISP. The Institute of Legal Informatics is in charge of the course of studies, which was the first German postgraduate course of studies in this subject area.
